Past events
Two so far: a car show in a Brentford yard, then a Christmas delivery to a children's ward.
The London car show
Alec built the first show from scratch at 18, with no budget and no contacts in the car world. He cold-called clubs, messaged owners, talked Duke of London into lending their yard for free, and traded sponsors some visibility for prizes, printing and design.
On the day there was coffee, pizza and 75 cars, from a 1929 Ford Model A to a Lamborghini Aventador Ultimae. Alec gave a speech in the showroom, and the money went to children living with long-term illness.
- 75 cars on show
- 250 fans through the gate
- £6,000 raised for kids' charities

The Christmas delivery
Organised by Thelma.
Two classics, a Fiat 500 Giardiniera and an Alfa Romeo Giulia, pulled up at the hospital loaded with £1,000 of presents. Every one was wrapped in white paper and tagged with the Fund of Cars logo, for children spending Christmas on the ward.
